Give

We have to raise all the money for looking after the building and providing services and activities by local work and donations. We do not directly receive Church of England money or Government support to keep this the oldest space in Hook and Goole by over 400 years open, used and in good conditon.

There’s lots of opportunities for you to use your skills or develop new skills doing a little one off task or some longer term volunteering . . . see more  We’re currently looking for help with the website and statistics gathering, but welcome any who can offer a little time.

800+ Our vision for this Next Century of (y)our church's Life

St Marys Church is by some 400 years the oldest building in Hook, Goole and surrounding area. It is going to be 800 years old in 2025.

As part of our celebration of this we are working to restore it to being a really useful resource for the church, the village and the surrounding community and on growing our community of love in a way which is open and accessible to all.

It will cost about £300,000 – £500,000 to do the major parts of the works on the buildings but thanks to so many we are off to a flying start . . . .
