JOIN US By Volunteering

We are a warm, welcoming and growing group and with many exciting projects on the horizon for our 800th anniversary. We would love you to join our team of volunteers, whether you can spare a couple of hours, a day a week or a few days each month, we have a variety of roles to suit everyone!

You can volunteer for a single event, join our team or even as part of your work charity scheme.

Come and share the skills you already have, or learn new ones with us.

We’re currently looking for the following roles, but welcome all enquiries to volunteer.

Event Volunteer

From marshalling at our annual Hook Church Run, to supporting our upcoming 800th anniversary events and numerous coffee mornings – we cannot raise vital funds for our church and community without the support of volunteers – please get in touch today if you can help.

Fundraising Volunteer

From organising events, to manning a stand, this role is as full and diverse as you make it – why not come along to one of our monthly Fundraising meetings to find out more?

Website Volunteer

If you have website skills we need you (as you can probably tell from this website!). Our website is built on WordPress and needs regular updating, formatting and to be honest a good overhaul. If you know how we can make our site better and work harder please do get in touch!

Volunteers

If you have skills you’d like to donate please do let us know! Whether you’re an awesome baker, a whizz at excel, a builder, have an idea for a great event, simply have a couple of hours to make a difference and are happy to get involved –  please do drop us an email, call or chat to us. We would love to hear from you.

Come and join us at our next meeting (details to the left) to find out more.

If you would like to find out more about any of these volunteering roles please do contact Sarah Child, or the Vicar for an informal chat
