Weddings

Being married in church is more than about having a service in a beautiful venue, it has the added ‘special element’ of seeking God’s blessing on your marriage.

So for many reasons, se love a wedding here and enjoy making these occasions special, moving and unique. We are delighted that by the law of the land most people who live in the parish or have ‘qualifying’ connections to the church are legally allowed to get married here*. Also that many who do not already have such a connection can easily establish one so marry here.

* Currently English Law does not allow same sex marriage to take place in a Church of England Church and there are other legal restrictions for foriegn nationals and a few other people which prevent a few from marrying here.
